I am so happy that my chocoholic husband gave this a fine thumbs up!\u00a0 <em>The word \u201cfine\u201d is a good thing for a numismatist! <\/em>\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Cake:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 can drained organic black beans<\/li>\n<li>6 TBL organic butter<\/li>\n<li>5 eggs<\/li>\n<li>3 TBL honey<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup unsweetened coco powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-83\" title=\"trish high five chocolate cake\" src=\"http:\/\/www.30dayvegetarian.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/trish-high-five-chocolate-cake-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"trish high five chocolate cake\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.30dayvegetarian.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/trish-high-five-chocolate-cake-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.30dayvegetarian.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/trish-high-five-chocolate-cake-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.30dayvegetarian.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/trish-high-five-chocolate-cake.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>Line two baking pans with parchment paper and spray lightly with olive oil. Puree the black beans and organic butter in your food processor until very smooth. Add eggs, honey, baking powder and baking soda and continue to process until the batter is completely mixed. Don\u2019t worry about over mixing, there is no flour to make this \u201ccake\u201d tough.<\/p>\n<p>Divide the mixture between two pans (this recipe makes \u201clittle\u201d cakes about an inch and a half tall each) and tap the pans on the counter to remove any air pockets.<\/p>\n<p>Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool completely before frosting. (Oh and remember to remove the parchment paper \u2026 do I have a story I could tell you!)<\/p>\n<p>Frosting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 stick butter<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup unsweetened coco powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup chocolate soy milk<\/li>\n<li>3 TBL honey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Warm the soy milk slightly and mix in your coco powder until you have a smooth chocolate \u201csyrup\u201d. The warm soy milk will help remove some of the gritty texture of the coco powder. In your processor or mixing bowl blend the butter and honey until light and fluffy.
